We participated in the Hey Dee Ho Road safety online video see below photos and on the 22nd May we were one of the 2,359,147 participants from 21,969 locations around Australia and the world to read the BOWERBIRD BLUES. This created a multitude of conversations between the educators and the children and we spent the next few days exploring the color blue and what birds could collect.

 

 

 

 

 

As a village on the 23rd of May we held a World's Biggest Morning Tea to raise money for the Cancer Council. As a village we raised $226 through a guessing game and selling platters of home made yummy slices and biscuits such as lemon slice, passionfruit slice, caramel slice, spinach and ricotta pinwheels, brownies, apple slice, chocolate cake, jelly slice and apple slice.. A huge thank you to the educators for making donating these and a bigger thank you to the families for buying them and donating to a great cause that touches everyone in some way.
